A pool wall material needs to be strong, yet flexible. It
needs to be able to move with the changing climates and ground
conditions. The freeze / thaw cycles here in the north can
wreak havoc on non-flexible materials. Steel is strong enough
and flexible enough to build bridges and skyscrapers; it's
more than an ideal material for swimming pool construction.
